Libby Walker is a Scottish landscape painter exploring atmosphere, memory and place through oil painting. With a background in illustration spanning over 15 years, she has worked with commercial clients and built her own brand before returning to a focused fine art practice.

She was a finalist on Landscape Artist of the Year 2026.

Plein Air

Walker paints on location often. Its a core foundation of her work. The experience both practically and physically informs the style and subject of her work.

Studio Works

Bringing references, plein air and memories back to the studio, allowing more time and bigger pieces, the studio is an important development of ideas and paintings.
